Thuku (Too-koo) is 20 years old and cares for his two nieces and two
nephews after his sister abandoned them. Thanks to Bishop Daniels, a SAC donor, and Save Africa's Children, a borehole and electic water pump was installed in their village of Nguiribi (Kenya), allowing these children have access to clean water. Often times children have to forego school to walk long distances to fetch water and help take care of family. Clean water near the home and school enables his two nieces to attend school.
