Welcome to the family of Save Africa's Children! Your ministry can help improve the precious lives of thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children throughout Africa.
How can you become an active participant?
- Pray for restoration and peace in Africa; strength for children and widowed grandmothers who lead their home; and pray for the caregivers who rescue orphaned children from danger-filled streets.
- Seasonal offerings: contributions from your church family during the holiday season (i.e. Thanksgiving or Christmas), can bless many children and families.
- Send missionaries to assist various orphan care programs. Save Africa's Children hosts trips to Africa every year in August.
Our constituents and the World Missions team from West Angeles Church provide assistance at medical clinics, orphanages, schools and meet immediate needs of orphaned children that are encountered. - A monthly commitment to a designated project of your choice can:
- Support a church to feed hundreds of malnourished children
- Build a well or water tank so that children in rural areas will have clean and safe-drinking water
- Construct classrooms for children supported educationally by churches
Many churches provide primary education. There are sometimes up to four classes conducted at one time, in one room, without a partition or wall. When there is a funeral or wedding, the children are unable to go to school. - Provide support for medical attention for the children in Kenya
In Kenya, Save Africa's Children manages a medical clinic to provide heath care for orphaned children and rural communities affected and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. Your gift today will mean the difference between life and death for thousands of children.
Some churches have partnered with other local churches to provide a corporate donation, host walk-a-thons, collect special offerings or have a representative to speak during a special worship service.
