You may recall the Old Testament story of Joseph, the dreamer and favored son whose jealous brothers sold him into slavery. For years, he labored as a slave and a prisoner in Egypt, but God promoted him to the rank of Prime Minister, second only to Pharaoh in the entire ancient world.
Joseph realized this had taken place so that he could fulfill his God-given destiny of reaching back to save the same brothers who sold him into slavery from starvation and death.
