A Letter from Bishop Blake
04/11/2012
Many years ago, the story of Joseph caused a sincere yearning for me to connect with my homeland, Africa, to overwhelm my heart and mind. That yearning has been increased and intensified by the tragic and overwhelming AIDS and orphans statistics in sub-Saharan Africa. Now, more than fifty million Africans have died from the disease, and fourteen million children have been orphaned.
It gives me great joy to announce the TENTH ANNIVERSARY of Save Africa’s Children. Celebrate this wonderful milestone with us by making a special gift to help us continue the great work the Lord has commanded us to do. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your generous support in the past.
Since 2002, we have been blessed to successfully perpetuate the work of Save Africa’s Children. Hundreds of thousands of children have been and will continue to be fed, housed, clothed, and educated through the generosity of our donors. We have financed medical clinics, the digging of wells, and the erection of many buildings for the housing and education of the children of Africa and Haiti. We have paid school fees, purchased uniforms, and met a host of needs in the lives of precious children orphaned by AIDS. If our resources were not so limited, we could do much more and touch the lives of so many more children. I have before me a list of orphan care programs that I want to assist right away. To assist them will severely drain our financial resources. You can help us to prepare for our next round of grants that are desperately needed by the children.
Please respond right away. The children are waiting for our help. Please click here to send your immediate gift and to set up a recurring contribution you can automatically give each month to provide for the orphans of Africa and Haiti. Again, thank you for your generous support.
Gratefully,
Charles E. Blake, Sr.
